My Involvement with “I Am My Brothers Keeper Ministries, Inc.
My name is Dorothy Gregory; I have been involved in Jail and Prison ministry for over 21 years. I am currently over the Jail Ministry at my Church, (Cathedral Church of God). I came in contact with “I Am My Brothers Keeper Ministries” several months ago, when I got to know what this ministry was all about, the Lord reminded me that this is the ministry that HE showed me many years ago, a ministry that had HIS vision and not man vision; a ministry that would ministry to the total man; body, soul and spirit. A ministry that would give in needed areas to those that is in need. “I Am My Brothers Keepers Ministries” is responsible for this great networking system that is going forth in the city of Deerfield, Florida. Currently we have about nine churches that are working with us in the Jail and Prison Ministry and we are looking forward to many more to join with us, for this is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our sight.

My name is Deborah Calote; I am writing this letter to thank you for answering the call to ministry, Pastor Wesley and Rosalind Smith. I have been blessed by your ministry network. While fellowshipping with the ministry I see God using your lives to touch those who have love ones in prison, and I see the anointing to restore the body of Christ to the Kingdom’s Call. Also Pastor Smith’s book “Grace and Mercy” and testimony increased my faith to know that God can deliver those behind prison bars. With the large number of black men incarcerated, it was an inspiration to see how God delivered him and now he is helping to set men free through the gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry has been ordained by God to help network the Body of Christ to work the ministry of God’s love, forgiveness, grace, hope, deliverance and reconciliation to those who are bound in jail and prison. I Am My Brothers Keeper Ministries meet weekly and once a month to encourage the Body of Christ to come together, unify and work the ministry of Isaiah 61. I have a son who is currently in prison and the ministry has reached out to him and is working on building a network that will restore inmates to their families, and transition them back to society helping them build charter, integrity, hope and to minister the love of God that will change any life through the power of the Gospel.
